Hand-crafted using traditional techniques by Nůž in Waiuku, Aotearoa. Nůž was founded in 2019, but its roots go much deeper. Founder Madison Baker has knife-making in her DNA: back in 1983, her father started the knife brand Svord. Watching her dad make knives by hand and grow his business into one of New Zealand's best-loved hunting and fishing knife brands gave her a true appreciation for the craft.

Care: Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry straight away. Never put it in the dishwasher. Oil the blade occasionally with a little olive or vegetable oil to protect against rust. Carbon steel develops a natural patina with use. Have it professionally sharpened about once a year, or whenever it starts to feel dull. In Ōtautahi Christchurch we recommend KASS Sharpening Services on St Asaph Street.
