An ulu herb cutter with a distinctive curved blade, used with a rocking motion. It's ideal for fine chopping of herbs and vegetables, and even meat or fish, and can also be used for skinning animals. The design is modelled on one traditionally used by Indigenous peoples of the Arctic.

Care:
- Hand wash in warm water and dry immediately. Never leave the knife wet, and never put it in the dishwasher.
- Carbon steel darkens with use. A grey-blue patina is normal and protects the blade, but orange, flaky rust is not – remove it with a baking soda paste, then dry and oil. Before storing, wipe the blade with a light film of food-safe oil.
- Cut on wood or composite, never stone, glass or ceramic. Dry carefully around the handle join and rivets, where water can sit.
- Cared for this way, your herb cutter will sharpen easily and last a lifetime.
