Total length 29cm, blade length 15cm.

A.J. Prime is a Māori artisan and the person behind Prime Artisan Knives. Based in Te Tai Tokerau Northland, he is one of only a handful of full-time bladesmiths in Aotearoa. He has been making knives since 2015, and in that time has built a reputation as one of the country's most skilful knife makers. His uncompromising dedication to quality has made his work highly sought after and respected.

Care: Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry straight away. Never put it in the dishwasher. Oil the blade occasionally with a little olive or vegetable oil to protect against rust. Carbon steel develops a natural patina with use. Have it professionally sharpened about once a year, or whenever it starts to feel dull. In Ōtautahi Christchurch we recommend KASS Sharpening Services on St Asaph Street.
