Merino beanie by Knit Shepherd made in Auckland, Aotearoa

A 100% merino wool beanie with a deep cuff and double-layered ribbed crown, made for colder climates. Inspired by the alpine landscape of Lake Hāwea in Otago.

Colours: Ponga (soft black), Rātā (autumn red), Tōtara (green mix), Tūrutu (soft navy).

Care: Merino naturally resists stains and odours, so it rarely needs washing – airing it out is usually enough. If it does get marked, hand wash in cool water with a wool detergent, or machine wash on a gentle wool cycle in a mesh bag. Squeeze out gently, reshape and dry flat away from heat. Never tumble dry. Store folded with a cedar block to keep moths away.
