Ladle made in Te Miro, New Zealand

A handcrafted ladle made from reclaimed timbers of historic significance. Each ladle uses two unique woods from Aotearoa, one for the bowl and one for the handle, and comes with the story of each timber, including carbon dating and location.

Beautifully crafted and finished, it's a special taonga for your home, or a gift for a friend who appreciates good craft, a good story and good food.

Made by Tom and Louise, who are based in the small town of Te Miro in the North Island.

Care: Wash in warm water, soapy if needed, and dry. Not for the dishwasher, and don't leave it sitting in the pot. Re-oil when you like with coconut, olive or walnut oil, wiping off the surplus after a few minutes.
