Alpaca scarf by Masterweave Textiles made in Masterton, New Zealand

Regular price $115.00

A super light, soft and warm scarf in brushed alpaca, grown in Aotearoa New Zealand. Alpaca is hypoallergenic, so it's gentle on sensitive skin.

Made by Masterweave Textiles on Lindsay and Philippa's family farm, Windermere, in Masterton, Wairarapa. Early pioneers of farming luxury fibre animals in New Zealand, they bought their small weaving mill in 1989 and still weave alpaca throws and scarves on site.

Size: 190cm x 19cm

Care: Alpaca naturally resists stains and odours, so it rarely needs washing – airing it out is usually enough. If it does get marked, soak and gently hand wash in lukewarm water, rinse in cool water, then spin. Dry flat or over a line; never tumble dry. A light brush with a soft hairbrush brings back the brushed finish. Store folded with a cedar block to keep moths away.
