Care Instructions: Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry straight away. Never put it in the dishwasher. Oil the blade occasionally with a little olive or vegetable oil to protect against rust. Carbon steel develops a natural patina with use. Have it professionally sharpened about once a year, or whenever it starts to feel dull. In Christchurch we recommend KASS Sharpening Services on St Asaph Street.
