A hand crafted ladle using reclaimed woods of historic significance. Each ladle includes two unique woods from Aotearoa, one for the bowl and one for the handle. The story of each timber, including carbon dating and location, are supplied with each respective ladle. Tom and Louise are based in the small town of Te Miro, in the North Island of New Zealand.
Current ladles available have a bowl made from volcanic matai, ex Taupō events (carbon dated 236 AD), and a walnut handle.
