The blade has been forged from W1 tool steel, it has a forged bolster and a dyed gorse wood handle with brass pin. This knife comes in a beautiful hand-tooled leather sheath made by A.J. Prime to suit this knife.
A.J. Prime is a Māori artisan and the person behind Prime Artisan Knives. Based in Te Tai Tokerau, A.J. is one of only a handful of full time bladesmiths in Aotearoa.
He has been making knives since 2015 and in that time has established himself as one of the most reputable and skillful knife makers in the country. His uncompromising dedication to quality has seen his work become highly sought after and respected.
