A versatile handcrafted paring knife by the acclaimed team at Lorimer Knives. With a D2 steel blade and a cow bone handle this knife is both very strong and beautifully unique as the bone grain will vary.
Jamie Pickford now heads up the business with founder Peter Lorimer overseeing all aspects of the process from forging, grinding and hardening the blades to making the boxes that carry them.

Care Instructions: The blade is D2 tool steel, prized by knifemakers because it holds a sharp edge for a long time. It's rust-resistant but not fully stainless, so hand wash and dry straight away, and never put it in the dishwasher or leave it wet. Have it professionally sharpened about once a year, or whenever it starts to feel dull. In Christchurch we recommend KASS Sharpening Services on St Asaph Street.
We ship nationwide across Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally to selected destinations.
