Rimu chopping board with groove made in Napier, Aotearoa

A sturdy solid timber chopping board made from rimu with mataī and/or elm feature, suited to all kitchen prep.

A groove around the edge catches juices from vegetables, fruit or meat. Four feet on the underside raise it slightly off the bench, so it's easier to pick up. Finished in rice bran oil.

50cm x 30cm x 3cm.

Each board varies slightly from the one pictured depending on the timber available. The boards currently in stock are darker in colour than the one pictured.

Made in Ahuriri Napier.

Care: Wipe down with a cloth moistened with warm water. No detergents, and don't submerge in water. Re-oil occasionally; the surface can be fully restored with a light sand (320 grit or finer) and a fresh coat of oil.
