A solid timber chopping board made from rimu with mataī and/or elm feature. This is a sturdy board suited to all kitchen prep.
A groove runs around the perimeter of the board to catch any liquid from cutting vegetables, fruit or meat. Four feet on the underside raise it off the bench slightly, making it easier to pick the board up.
Finished in rice bran oil. Wipe down with a damp cloth after each use, or rinse under water. Do not submerge in water. Re-oil occasionally.
Each board will vary slightly from the one pictured due to timber availability. The boards in stock currently are darker in colour to the one pictured.
