Hand forged cheese knife made in Darfield, New Zealand

A one-of-a-kind cheese knife, hand forged from carbon steel with a mixed timber handle. Each one shows slight variations, which makes it a special gift for any cheese lover and a centrepiece on the platter or cheeseboard.

The knife you receive will differ from those pictured in the pattern of both steel and timber.

Made at the Forgery by Christo in a small village near Darfield. Exclusive to Frances Nation.

Care: Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry straight away. Never put it in the dishwasher. Oil the blade occasionally with a little olive or vegetable oil to protect against rust. Carbon steel develops a natural patina with use. Have it professionally sharpened about once a year, or whenever it starts to feel dull.
