Mackenzie oilskin hat made in Wellington, New Zealand

The classic Mackenzie – a hard-wearing hat in Australian oilskin (8oz waxed 100% cotton). It has a structured, curved brim of about 7.5cm, mesh eyelets, and a chin cord with toggle and keeper.

Made by Hills Hats in Pōneke Wellington using a traditional steam and heat blocking process, then finished with an extra layer of wax for durability and water resistance.

How to choose your size: measure around your head with a tape measure (or string), sitting it above your ears and across the middle of your forehead

Care: Remove loose soil with a soft brush and gently sponge with cold water – don't scrub or use cleaning products. Re-wax when needed with our waterproofing beeswax bar.
