Collaboration Wines Ceresia cabernet franc

Pure, fragrant and intriguing barrel aged cabernet franc. Elegant, delicate florals, raspberry and dark black fruits. Intertwined with lovely leafy, tobacco and aniseed notes. Velvety, layered, generous and complex with delicate fine grained tannins.

Vintage
2019 Spring started off wet with the following months finishing warm and dry with cool nights. End of March was very warm bringing the Cabernet Franc into optimum ripeness.

Winemaking
Hand picked and destemmed with 100% whole berries
Cold soaked for 4-5 days and fermented in small open top fermenters
24 months in new (30%) and old French oak barrels.
Unfined and unfiltered.
