Koyama Waipara pinot noir

Regular price $35.00

A soft, easy to approach pinot noir from Waipara Valley's Koyama wines. It has a light ruby hue, and the aroma of pink cherry and red stone fruits. Good drinking now, or can be cellared for another five years.

The grapes are sourced from two different vineyards, both situated in the centre of the Waipara Valley, where the soil is called “glacial gravel”. These free draining stony soils bring a rich aroma to the wine. Grapes are hand harvested into small picking bins and sorted again in the winery before a natural yeast fermentation.

Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, no fining or filtration is applied. Contains sulphites.

13.0% alcohol/volume.

You must be over 18 years of age to purchase alcohol.
