This iron pan is perfect for frying, grilling and serving. Much lighter than conventional cast iron pans, this iron pan is typically used by chefs in commercial kitchens because it can be easily moved between hob and stove, or to lift and toss. It will season with use and quickly become your favourite pan: it cooks with an even heat and holds it's seasoning well. It even makes great crepes.

Care: To start the seasoning process, wash and dry the pan thoroughly. Lightly coat in vegetable oil and place in oven at 180 degrees for 60 mins. Expect the pan to change colour, usually slightly golden to dark grey.
Hand wash the pan with a non metal brush in warm water. Dry thoroughly straight either with a towel or by placing the pan on low heat. Occasionally wipe pan with olive oil to keep it happy.
