Seasoning your iron pan: To start the seasoning process, wash and dry the pan thoroughly. Lightly coat in vegetable oil and place in oven at 180 degrees for 60 minutes. Expect the pan to change colour, usually slightly golden to dark grey.
Hand wash with a non-metal brush in warm water. Dry thoroughly straight away either with a towel or by placing the pan on low heat. Occasionally wipe pan with olive oil to keep it happy.
